Is therapy right for me?

Therapy can benefit all of us. If you are experiencing the negative effects of emotional pain and discomfort, therapy can be a safe place to unpack those pain points and to heal from them. Therapy is a journey through life’s difficulties in a safe and empowering environment. Therapy is right for you if you feel like you would like to heal from pain and grow towards living the life you want. If you want to learn more, head here for more information.

What is trauma?

We can experience trauma in many different ways. When I first thought of trauma before doing this work, I thought of capital “T” trauma. Capital “T” can look like abuse, serious injury, accidents, violence, or life endangering moments in time that seem to stick in our brains. This is most commonly associated with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

There is also small “t” trauma. This trauma has potentially been with us since we were born. It is an emotional response to events over time that were overwhelming like a loss of a big relationship or growing up in a home where our caregivers were not emotionally there for us.

Are you working with clients in person right now?

I am currently accepting in-person clients until my caseload is determined as full. Please inquire regarding availability.

Do you have a website privacy policy I can review?

I sure do! Please feel free to view it here.

Do you provide emergency services?

No. With the very limited capacity I have as a one-person practice, I cannot provide emergency services. I provide referrals, and help individuals get in touch with greater resources than I can provide as an individual entity.

Do you have any other questions, or feel like I missed something? Please let me know!
